Brown have said, CII don't check the loads of all spring hangers in OCC cases if those loads are still within there working ranges, i hope CII can deal with it in the future.Ģ, Snubbers require maintenance, and snubbers may locked, so if you use 3 sunnbbers and every thing is ok, i think that's good. Why the nozzles can't be distroyed under the great OCC forces and moments?Įdited by harry chiu ( 08/03/07 03:52 AM)ġ,As Loren A.
#Sunrise pipenet review code
The China code on piping stress anlysis clearly states: it's not necessary to satisfy the vendor's allowed values under OCC cases. Some reaction forces and moments of nodes connected to equipment nozzles are greater than the allowed values provided by the vendor. I don't know what other things should be considered? My question is, are these 3 snubbersenough for this system? I heard some other 1000MW-class fossil plant uses more than 20 snubbers in its main steam system per unit. I think my stress analysis process is finished. I gave our civil group the maximum reaction forces and moments of all restraints, and they said ok for the building. I used only 3 snubbers for the whole system and the conmbined OCC stresses are all passed. The main steam design parameter is 26.47MPa.g, 610degC, pipe material is A335P92. The earthquake can be ignored because it is below class 8 per China local code.

I set up the Main Steam/High Pressure Bypass/Cold Reheat combined pipline in one ms._A model, and only considered steam hammer for the system. I still have another question here to ask everybody.
